Investor Friendly Agents is the brainchild of Rachel Barnes who is a Property Investor, Entrepreneur, Author and Speaker. Based on her substantial experience she has gained over the past 15 years in the real estate arena, she has created an unique training program to develop the skills of Real Estate Agents and Property Managers to expand their knowledge, their network of Property Investors and ultimately their income!
Why Would an Investor Want to Help and Train an Agent or Property Manager?
Good question! Rachel has been teaching people about property investing for over 9 years, through events and one on one private coaching, articles and general media. One of the core concepts in the training she provides, is about the importance of building the right team around you. For an Investor this is one of the keys to their success - and real estate agents and property managers are always on top of the team list.
However, the consistent feedback from Investors has been that they can't find good agents and often feel disappointed with property managers. The ones they have met so far seem to fall short of expectations on many levels including:
1. Agents aren't educated about investing, so Investors have trouble explaining what they're looking for.
2. Agents generally waste Investors time, because they send them or show them the wrong properties to look at.
3. Property managers don't meet expectations and don't communicate well.
4. Generally investors feel that agents aren't trustworthy and property managers are inept.
5. Many property professionals say they are 'Investor' savvy but many investors are concerned about being mislead by property spruikers so can be skeptical.
Although we can't change any dishonest agents, we can certainly do something to fix the other issues. Of course we can't guarantee anyone's honesty, but we can 'certify' that every agent and property manager that goes through our training workshops is informed and equipped to be of service to an Investor. OUR MISSION is to have at least 2,000 genuine real estate agents and property managers ACCREDITED as INVESTOR FRIENDLY.

Believe it or not, most Investors want to build long term great relationships with good agents who can help them buy and sell property. And of course when they're holding a property long term they want someone they can trust to manage that asset long term.
With the right education and attitude, agents can then get the benefit of building a relationship with one investor that offers multiple sales and management opportunities. It's so much easier to deal with one person you trust and respect, than having to keep looking for new contacts.
Our goal is to find, train and accredit 2,000 good agents and property managers to be Great Investor Friendly Agents, and help connect them with Investors across Australia.
